Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter (Bajaj Chetak Electric) has received great response from customers. The company had to stop booking scooters within 48 hours. The company claims that bookings have been canceled due to heavy demand. Currently, the scooter is only available in two cities in the country – Pune and Bangalore. The company is now going to launch it in two new cities to meet the demand.
To further boost sales, Bajaj Auto will soon launch battery-powered scooters in Pune and Chennai, followed by Chennai and Hyderabad, the report said. As of December 2020, Bajaj has a total of 18 luxury dealerships in India. Five of them are located in Pune and the rest in Bangalore. This scooter has direct competition with electric scooters like Ather 450X and TVS IQB.

Prices have risen recently
The company also recently increased the price of scooters keeping in mind the demand. The company increased its price by Rs 227,000, then increased the price of this scooter to Rs 1,42,620 (former showroom, Pune). Let us tell you that this was the second time the price of scooters was increased. Earlier in March, the company had raised about Rs 50,000.

95km driving range
This scooter has a 3 kWh battery and a 4.08 kW electric motor. It comes with two different driving modes- Sport and Echo. The company claims that the scooter can run up to 95 km in eco mode and 85 km in sport mode. At the same time, the battery takes about 5 hours to fully charge. However, with the help of fast charging system, it can be charged up to 25 percent in just 1 hour.
