The Best Royal Dresses from the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend

After months of planning and anticipation, the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend is finally upon us.

Members of the royal family attend Trooping the Colour, the monarch’s official birthday parade, at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.

This included the presence of the children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who were seen in a carriage during the procession.

He was later joined by his parents, the Queen and other members of the Royal Family to watch the Royal Armed Forces flypast on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Also on Thursday, the public caught a much-anticipated glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are in the UK with their children, Archie and Lillibet, to celebrate the Queen’s historic 70-year reign.

The monarch, who later faces mobility issues, did not attend Thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday, with Buckingham Palace revealing in a statement that she had suffered “some discomfort” during Thursday’s events.

The heir apparent, the Prince of Wales, instead represented his mother at the service. He was joined by other senior members of the royal family, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Princess Royal.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were also in attendance, marking their first public appearance in the UK since they stepped down as senior family members in 2020.

The celebration is being celebrated to commemorate the service of the Queen in Britain, members of the Royal Family took advantage of the occasion and displayed their scintillating skills.

Meghan earned high praise for her “savvy” appearance as she arrived in St. Paul on Friday in a sleek Dior belted coat. Meanwhile, Kate turned heads on Thursday in a crisp white Alexander McQueen blazer dress.

The Emperor wore an Angela Kelly design

The Queen chose an outfit from British fashion designer Angela Kelly, who also serves as the 96-year-old’s senior dresser.

The Queen, who was seen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on Thursday, wore a pale blue dress with pearl and diamond trim.

She also wore a matching wide-brimmed hat, and carried a hand-crafted stick gifted to her by the British Army.

The Cambridge’s only daughter wore a cornflower blue chiffon dress by Patachous at the Trooping the Color event on Thursday.

The sold-out dress featured a ruffled skirt, sheer butterfly sleeves and a bow applique around the neck.

Meghan arrived at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday wearing a cream belted coat from Dior.

She paired the haute couture look with matching leather gloves and a stiletto, and a wide-brimmed hat.

Kate Middleton looked gorgeous on Thursday, opting for a crisp white blazer dress by Alexander McQueen.

Her look consisted of a metallic silk dress, worn under a matching coat, adorned with a single gold brooch.
