After knowing the sales figures for August 2023, we analyzed the data to find out who are the best selling cars in Colombia. The downward trend continued during the second semester and the decrease is 39.3% compared to the same month in 2022. A total of 14,801 units were registered, according to ANDI and Fenalco.
Again, the Mazda CX-30 leads the monthly ranking, although this occasion has a negative change. Its sales decreased by 16.3% compared to last year, which finally translated to 708 registered units. This is enough to prevail over Renault Duster and gain a unique advantage.
Thus, the SUV assembled in Colombia remained in second position last month, with 491 units registered (-56.7% compared to 2022) and continues to lead the annual sales ranking for 2023. The podium was closed by Chevrolet Onix where 468 units were sold in August, that is, 54.6% less than in 2022.
In this regard, the successful Toyota Corolla Cross He also kept the fourth square. The SUV produced in Brazil registered 466 units registered (-19.1%) and “hot on the heels” of the Renault model in the annual sales ranking. While the Top 5 will end on Mazda 2 of which 442 units were sold (-28.1%).
