The Carabineros prepared a report with four critical points for possible demonstrations in Antofagasta within the framework of the 50 years of the Coup d’état.

At the same time, the city center is another of the highest risk sectors, where demonstrations and barricades are expected, as well as possible attacks against commercial areas or the Carabineros police station. Accordingly, TransporteInforma announced that there is a scheduled road closure on Av. Sabella, between Covadonga and Matta, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
A similar diagnosis was made by the police institution of the population of Bonilla, especially around the Plaza Bicentenario, where in addition to the protests, a possible attack on the North Subpolice Station was estimated.
The roundabout on the north side (Av. Pedro Aguirre Cerda with Av. Pérez Zujovic) is also defined as a higher risk sector, but so far no demonstrations have been registered there.
