flutter entertainment announced on Wednesday that UK and Ireland (UK&I) division CEO Conor Grant resigns And will leave his post before the end of the year. Ian Brown, former CEO of Booking.com’s travel division and senior partner of Oliver Wyman, Will replace Grant.
Brown will join Flutter in September, taking charge of the brands Paddy Power, Sky Betting and Gaming, Betfair and Tombola in the UK and Ireland. Flutter explained that Grant and Brown will work together “to ensure the smooth transition of responsibilities.”
Grant has been in the online gaming industry for over 20 years. He joined Sky Betting & Gaming 12 years ago, where he saw a “hugely successful” period for the company, including its transformational sale to The Stars Group (TSG).
Following Flutter’s merger with TSG two years ago, he led the consolidation of Flutter’s business in the UK and Ireland, That includes managing the business during the pandemic, leading the business response to the UK government’s review of gaming legislation and successfully completing the acquisition of UK bingo operator Tombola.

This move comes a day after the flutter mark, FanDuel Groupdeclare Two new leadership appointments. With immediate effect on Tuesday, Legal Director, Christian Zanetsky, has been promoted to the position of President; and Marketing Director, Mike Raffensperger was appointed to the newly created position of Chief Commercial Officer.
