Japanese automaker Suzuki is going to update their crossover car S-Cross in the global market. The company has released a new teaser image on its social media handles. The car’s LED headlamp can be seen at the same time. The teaser caption on Suzuki’s Italian social media page reads, “A new Suzuki model is coming! Only 14 days left for the official premiere.” The new model is expected to be the 2022 Suzuki S-Cross, with its global premiere in Italy on November 25, 2021. It may be launched in other markets next year.
The 2022 Suzuki S-Cross has been seen several times during testing. The details of its design have also been revealed to a great extent. There will be no huge changes in the design and the company will retain its crossover look. However, some new styling elements such as front grille, lighting system and alloy wheel design can be added. It will be built on the company’s HEARTECT platform.

Get advanced features
The new model can see many improved features compared to the current S-Cross. It can get more feature-loaded interiors with attached car technology. Not only that, the crossover will have ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System) features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, Park Assist, Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist.

A 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 48-volt system can be offered in the new generation S-Cross. This engine is capable of producing maximum 103bhp of power and 138Nm of peak torque. It will get a 6-speed manual and an automatic gearbox. It is likely to get Suzuki’s Allgrip 4 × 4 drive system. The crossover can also get a 1.4L boosterjet turbo engine that produces 127bhp and 235Nm of torque.
