In a press release, it was reported that Cuitláhuac González Galindo emphasized that the strategy aims to ensure that all health sector workers have sufficient knowledge to prevent maternal mortality, which is recognized as a serious public health problem worldwide.
“What we want is that we all use the same language about how to prevent a mother’s death and how to treat it in time, because when you talk about a mother’s death, it’s about preventing bleeding during an operation, prevent and take care of a woman dying.” “The patient needs to identify before pregnancy which patient is at high risk so that all doctors and interns can help us identify this in time and provide the necessary care” , he explained.
