It’s been waiting for more than a year Honda CR-V in Europe. While it announced its details for the US market in July 2022, its data for the Old Continent has only now been released. It is now available from 51,545 euros and the first deliveries will take place from October.
The design variations are non-existent compared to its North American brother, with a calm appearance in which horizontal lines predominate, with a large front grille, extended headlights and 18 or 19 inch wheels.
Like its predecessors, it belongs to the D segment. It measures 4.70 meters long, 1.87 meters wide and 1.67 meters high; It has a wheelbase of 2.7 meters and a ground clearance of 19 centimeters.
The interior offers analog sensations thanks to elements such as the physical controls on the center console, but also highlights the screens 10.2 inch digital box and the central 9. The multimedia system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, it has a head-up display and the spacious seats gain more space compared to its predecessor, especially in the rear seats.
It has a trunk of 596 liters (588 liters in the 4×4), which increases to 1,651 liters with the rear seats folded down.
The range is divided into two versions: Elegance and progress. Right from the start it already has a 9-inch screen, a reversing camera, a sunroof, keyless entry and start and the driving assistants summarized in the Honda SENSING.
Access is one Hybrid conventionally with a four-cylinder petrol engine 184 HP and 335 Nm maximum torque supported by a small electric block and a low capacity battery. It can be connected to a system of Front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. In the first case, 134 g/km CO2 and 5.9 liters per 100 kilometers are approved, in the second case 151 g/km and 6.7 l/100 km.
Above is the variant plug-in hybrid, which uses the same set but also includes a 17.7 kWh battery and a lightweight, high-capacity onboard charger. This allows you a electric autonomy of up to 82 kilometers (and carry the ZERO label) as well as homologated emissions of 18 g/km and a consumption of 0.8 l per 100 kilometers.
