The father of the family who was reportedly knocked down in an extreme case of road rage Thursday morning on a service road of Highway 15, in Laval, finally succumbed to his injuries Friday morning.
“I struggle to realize that I lost my father, he still had his whole life ahead of him, still full of projects, but it’s over”, articulated Alexandre Taillon, the son of the victim.

Laval police are looking for this gray Hyundai Accent car produced between 2007 and 2010.
His father Stéphane Taillon had just gone to drive his spouse to work, to go to his, when the tragedy occurred, around 8 a.m.
A collision occurred and the 53-year-old man then got out of his vehicle. For some unknown reason, the insurance broker was deliberately hit by the other motorist, who fled after the impact. The hypothesis favored by the authorities is an episode of road rage.
“Several investigators are on the case, we are putting all our energies into finding the suspect vehicle,” said Érika Landry, spokesperson for the Laval police department.

Moreover, the sleuths are actively looking for a gray Hyundai Accent car produced between 2007 and 2010, in connection with this fatal hit and run.
Doctors tried everything to save the victim, but his condition deteriorated rapidly.
“We didn’t want to lose him. I saw my father’s face, how he was damaged, it was not an accident that happened, ”denounced Alexandre Taillon.

To facilitate his mourning and that of his family, he now hopes that the person responsible will denounce himself.
“What this person did is unforgivable. If she has a little heart, she must assume her actions. She took the life of a father, appreciated by many, ”said the 21-year-old, calling on the population to be vigilant if they see the wanted vehicle.
