The deputies that make up the Finance, Budget and Public Accounts Commission of the State Congress endorsed the financial situation of the municipality of Nuevo Ideal, but based on the observations presented they rejected those of Nazas, Pánuco de Coronado, San Dimas, Hidalgo, Santa Clara, Súchil, Canelas and San Pedro del Gallo.
Currently, the legislators are reviewing the public accounts for the year 2022 of the 39 municipalities of Durango, as part of an accountability exercise. In this regard, the president of the Finance, Budget and Public Accounts Commission, Sughey Torres Rodríguez, called on the municipal councils that present their situations in the negative so that they go before the State Superior Audit Entity and, to the extent of their possibilities, try to solve the recorded observations.
At the moment, there are 36 financial statements of city councils that have been examined and reviewed by the State Congress, so only the municipalities of Durango, Gómez Palacio and Lerdo, as well as the State Government, are missing to finish it legislative process and put it. for discussion.in the plenary session of the legislature.
Deputy Alejandro Mojica Narvaez pointed out that a specific analysis of information from public accounts was carried out by the Finance Commission.
In this way, it was announced that half of the municipalities came out positive and the other 50 percent did not pass the approval of their financial statements.
Throughout the month of October, the former officials responsible for public accounts can come to resolve the observations, before the discussion that takes place in the plenary session of the State Congress.
