O The murder of Agustina Fernández moved the inhabitants of the city of Río Negro. The 19-year-old Pampas had moved a few months earlier to continue her medical studies. Last Saturday, she was brutally beaten. He was at a friend’s house, in a house located on the ground floor of the housing complex where she lived. That man left her alone for an hour. Upon returning, he found Agustina severely wounded by blows to the head. That’s how the young man told it. The victim died last Wednesday. Her family decided to donate the organs. The investigation now has a suspect. The judicial detectives estimate that it was a robbery, as the owner of the house assured that he was missing dollars and his cell phone, which he had left there while visiting his father, according to him. Agustina’s cell phone was not found. The Public Ministry distributed an identity card of the alleged killer.
The social reaction was observed in the streets of Cipolletti during the night of last Wednesday. Hundreds of neighbors demanded justice. it’s himGovernor of Río Negro, Arabela Carrerashe now assured that this crime “cries” the whole of society and regretted not having been able to “avoid it in time”.
“This crime made us cry and relive sadness and suffering as a society, because they are events that occur and that unfortunately we cannot avoid in time”, said Carreras this morning in the city of Viedma, during an act of signing a cooperation agreement with the provincial magistracy to expedite forensic expert processes.
The provincial president said that yesterday she traveled to the city of Cipolletti to accompany the local mayor and give “personal support to the investigation that is being carried out” into the student’s crime.
For the governor, a consolation for the whole of society and also for her family “is that the murderer is found, that the culprit is found”, according to Télam.
“That’s why the agreement we just signed is so important, because it contributes to putting all the State’s capabilities at the service of clarifying the facts and being able to find the truth”, he specified.
The Public Ministry of Rio Negro is following the trail of a “murder committed in the context of the theft”, but so far there have been no arrests. In any case, progress was made in drawing up an identification form for the possible suspect, after analyzing the reports of witnesses – none witnessed the moment of the crime and no noises were heard in the house – and observing more than 200 hours of security recordings cameras installed on the outskirts of the residential complex located in Confluencia al 1300, on the outskirts of the town of Cipolletti.
In this hypothesis, the alleged murderer observed how Agustina’s friend, identified as Pablo Parra, left his house and entered the residence for the purpose of theft without knowing that the young Pampas was there. In his testimony, Parra indicated that when he found his friend beaten, he realized that he had left the door to an inner courtyard unlocked and that he had found a ladder in the party wall, allegedly used by the attacker.
And in this sense, the MPF of Rio Negro released an identikit prepared by the researchers, based on the physical characteristics of the main suspect in the crime, who would be a young man between 20 and 30 years old.
According to the MPF, the accused “is between 1.60 and 1.70 meters tall, has a white complexion and dark hair and” the most particular characteristic he has is that he has a series of tattoos on his face and hands “. .
“On the eyebrows, a tattoo that can be described as the number 10, added to others similar to crosses. In his hands he has a series of drawings among which the letters that make up the word “ROCK” stand out on his fingers.they pointed.
Although they have the physiognomic characteristics and particular signs of the suspect, they have not yet been able to identify him, locate him to advance in different procedural steps”, says the statement from the MPF.
The victim’s relatives have a different look. “There are things that don’t shut me down,” said Silvana Capello, Agustina’s mother.
In dialogue with LN+, He stressed that he cannot conceive that, finding his daughter lying on the floor, convulsing, Parra took the trouble to go to the room, then the door, which was open, and the stairs that were leaning against the patio, before helping the young woman. “You and I both know the first thing he saw was the dollars”he expressed with pain.
“When you have a loved one, the first thing you do is ask for help and dial a phone number. At that moment, he climbs to the top to ask for the neighbor’s cell phone. At least it was five minutes. I don’t know, we don’t all have the same logic,” the woman warned.
Agustina’s mother is not convinced that the murder was committed during a robbery: “I don’t believe in that hypothesis. Nor is it justified that for two cell phones and a thousand dollars they smashed your head like they did. and that my daughter assumes all the role. I spent five hours on the road thinking the same thing. Her head was deformed.”
