San Diego turned to Middle-earth today for attendees in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con during the unveiling of Prime Video’s long-awaited epic series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The creators and cast of the series gathered on the coveted stage of Hall H, thrilling the 6,500 fans who packed the convention center hall after overnight camping the streets of San Diego in hopes of witnessing this historic event. His efforts to be part of the series’ debut at Comic-Con were rewarded with the unveiling of a special trailer, and a glimpse of various scenes from the series, as well as several other surprises that could only be seen in the show room.
Among other things that we’ll comment on, fans got to see a new trailer about 3 minutes in length that shows off more characters and battles than any other trailer, featuring Anson Boone as Sauron. Includes the first images and the return of horror. Balog.

The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings panel summarizing what happened
In a moment of wonder and delight, the host of the late showHuge Tolkien fan Stephen Colbert was unveiled as the moderator for the panel. He was joined by series showrunners JD Payne and Patrick McKay, executive producers Lindsay Weber, and 21 cast members on the largest panel for a single series in San Diego Comic-Con history.
During the epic 90-minute event, the cast and creators interacted personally with fans for the first time, discussing their love of JRR Tolkien’s mythology and the rewarding process of bringing the beloved author’s second era to life; From new and legendary characters from the series to the incredible kingdoms of Middle-earth, including the island of Numenor, which has never been seen on screen before.

The thrilling trailer focuses on the terrifying resurgence of evil in Middle-earth and offers a first look at some of the chilling characters fighting against the series’ heroes.
In a special moment in Room H, the musicians Bear McCreeryThe Emmy winner and producer of the score for the series’ episodes, took to the stage with a 25-piece orchestra and 16-piece choir, delighting audiences with a special live performance of highlights from the series’ soundtrack, Never Before heard before.
