After the exceptional conditions that occurred in recent weeks, which interrupted the programming and delivery of some matches and which put the normality of the tournament at risk, the FPF Competitions Department prepared and published a report on this matter. Because of this, the Commission proposed a solution to the aforementioned problem, a modification of the Betsson League Rules 1, ed. 2023, which was reviewed and discussed at the regular session of the FPF Board of Directors; approving the proposal to modify articles 158 and 171 of the Betsson League 1 Regulations, 2023 edition, regarding the obligations of the clubs playing at home to allow the entry of mobile camera units and parties.
It is important to emphasize that, according to the current statutes of the FPF, the Board of Directors has the power to make modifications to the rules of competition organized by the FPF, including the Betsson League.
Similarly, in previous years, similar modifications have already been approved after the start of the tournament due to exceptional issues, a situation that is also allowed in the current tournament Regulations.
From the LFP, we confirm that the modifications to the current rules are only intended to preserve the integrity of all those involved, and guarantee the continuity of the Betsson League 1, 2023 edition, without which the views of others will continue to be affected with the aspect of the game and the interests of third parties who seek only personal profit, a situation that it hurts the participating clubs, their sponsors and especially the fans.
