TIJUANA SEPTEMBER 11, 2023.- The State Government, through the General Secretariat of Government (SGG), led a meeting with the inhabitants of the Valle de las Palmas community around the area, with state and municipal bodies.
The owner of SGG, Catalino Zavala Márquez indicates that it is an instruction from Governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda hold a community work meeting to make agreements and solution plans for the benefit of the families in the area.
Zavala Márquez reaffirmed the commitment of the State Government to solve all the issues that afflict the community, working in a coordinated manner between the partner responsible agencies and the community itself.
The officer led a tour of different parts of the community to see first-hand the most pressing needs and give instructions to solve them as soon as possible.
Afterwards, during the work meeting, the representatives of Valle de las Palmas presented the main problems regarding water and drainage, electricity and the needs of schools, while the authorities gave a report on the state of progress in that matter. must be fulfilled.
Finally, the Undersecretary of the Government of Tijuana, Magaly Ronquillo Palacios, shared the progress of electricity, whose work will begin in October thanks to the coordinated work of the State Government and the Federal Electricity Commission, benefiting more than 2,000 families.
Representatives from the Tijuana State Public Services Commission (CESPT), the State Welfare Secretariat, the Public Security Secretariat, the State Education Secretariat and the Institute of Sustainable Mobility participated.
