The governors of Vado de Pedro and Norte Grande began visiting the United States with work meetings and “think tanks” from that country.

The Minister of the Interior, Vado de Pedro, accompanied by the Governors of the Norte Grande Region, set out on a visit to the United States of America, beginning this afternoon with a meeting with Ambassador Jorge Arguello, in which he outlined the agenda of work carry throughout the week; and continued a meeting with the main “Think Thanks” of the United States on the working table “Norte Grande’s Potential in Bilateral Relations with the United States: Energy, Food Security, Mining and Electrical Reconstruction”, where they analyzed Export Profile field.

Before him, Vado de Pedro assured: “We are a young democracy, we have a well-consolidated political party system. We come from multiple elections, transparent, free where there were choices and where the rules of the game and the national constitution is respected. And it calls us as a society to think about the future. And we think and imagine that future with a fairly common diagnosis among many political forces, that in Argentina It is essential to consolidate and generate some basic agreements to strengthen human and economic development and strengthen the industrial and productive fabric.

“We understand that getting out of Argentina is with industry, with production, with work, and it is done with investments in infrastructure. This visit has a lot to do with it, because we are looking for strategic investments going to the IDB and the World Bank to propose financing for Argentina. We understand it this way, and this is how we have increased in the number of companies, in the number of jobs and in improving the quality of life of Argentines,” concluded the Minister of the Interior.

For his part, and after calculating Norte Grande’s potential in terms of energy and food production, Gerardo Zamora, Governor Pro Tempore of Santiago del Estero and President of the Regional Council of Norte Grande, insisted: “We are a region. are that, perhaps, the most important thing is that its people have a lot of social peace and active democracy. Vado de Pedro is accompanied by leaders of Norte Grande to the cities of Washington and New York, where they plan to hold meetings with businessmen and political leaders from across the United States.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the agenda of Vado de Pedro will continue with a meeting with the governors, together with the directors of the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB); and with a meeting in the White House Annexe with Julie Chavez Rodriguez, Senior Counselor, Assistant to President Joe Biden and Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.
