More than 200 exhibitors gathered in an area of 48,000 square meters at the leading trade fair for classic and collector vehicles on the Iberian Peninsula. This is the AutoClássico of Porto, which celebrates two decades of history in 2023. From October 5th to 8th, lovers of the world of engines can immerse themselves in the world of vintage cars at the Exponor facilities in Matosinhos.
What sets this AutoClássico apart from the other automobile shows is the quality and variety of the content on offer as well as the exceptional classics on display. This year 2023 pays tribute to the most famous Portuguese racing team of the 70s and 90s. This team, known as “Diabolique”, included two motorsport legends: Joaquim Santos and Miguel Oliveira, key figures and founders of the team.
Not only historical rallies will be seen at this trade fair. Porsche is celebrating its 75th anniversary while also celebrating the 60th anniversary of the legendary 911. The Porsche Clube Portugal will present a remarkable exhibition of its various models.
And from the “birthday” of one of the most famous brands with four wheels, we move on to two wheels. The legendary motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson is celebrating its 120-year history. The American company will have a stand where various models from different eras will be exhibited. There will also be a rally at the motor show on Saturday the 7th.
The AutoClássico de Oporto will also host a Concours d’Elegance. Vehicles of great historical value compete for the “Best of the Show” award, the highest award in the entire competition.
