American sports footwear and outdoor company Merrel has partnered with Jeep to create a first mountain boot model that combines the experience of two brands to “move” on the most complex terrain. The limited edition Merrell Moab 3 Mid x Jeep boot on sale, starting Monday, October 16, 2023, in a limited edition of the brand’s three most popular colors Sarge Green, Sting Gray and Hydro Blue. Specially designed for mountain use, the Merrell x Jeep boots offer all the efficiency and resistance expected from a Jeep.

Merrel has included in these boots many details taken from the Jeep Rubicon. Among the elements are custom-molded Rubicon insignia on the toe, Red “tow” hooks represent the hitches on the front of the Wrangler Rubicon. The metal hardware represents the hood hatches of the Jeep 4×4, the textile mesh on the upper part of the boot is inspired by the hexagonal pattern of the Wrangler grille or the oversized webbing hook on the heel representing the seat belt. The iconic seven-slot grille of the Jeep brand is emblazoned on the back and engraved insole inserts featuring a topographic map of Hell’s Revenge, a popular off-road trail in Moab, Utah are another symbol of Jeep enthusiasts that complete those Jeep hallmarks.
La Merrel Moab 3 Mid x Jeep will be sold in the US, Canada, Taiwan, China, Japan, Peru, Panama and Colombia while supplies of the edition are limited.. Prices are not yet visible on the website but the Moab 3 model on which this limited edition is based has a starting price of 130 dollars, about 121 euros in the USA, although the Jeep limited edition is more expensive. It is also available at select DICK’S Sporting Goods, Public Lands and Atmosphere stores.
To receive notifications about the launch of boots, you must register on the Merrell website. To celebrate the launch, Merrell will be doing a Jeep Wrangler giveaway although the boots are not required to be purchased to participate and only one entry per person is allowed. The draw will be held between October 23 and November 6, 2023 and Only residents of the US, Canada, Peru and Panama can participate.
