The presidents of the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court of Justice and the Council of State published on Monday night the results of the knowledge and skills test presented by the candidates to occupy the position of national registrar.
In a list of 37 admitted that was presented on July 16, ten will continue the process after passing the evaluation of knowledge carried out on Sunday, September 10. The results were disclosed through the agreement 008 of 2023 responding to the call for special merit contest.
The names of those who will continue the race to replace Alexander Vega Rocha as national registrar are those who passed the two tests conducted by the authorities and whose marks are the highest.

How is the registrar’s test graded?
Information published on the website of the Council of State reveals that the registrar’s test is graded with a score between zero and 250 points, taking into account the 50 questions asked.
In this, applicants must correctly answer at least 30 questions, equal to 150 points.
JoaquÃn José Vives Pérez, former magistrate of the National Electoral Council and former congressman of the Liberal Party, was the highest scorer with a total of 190 points. It is said that Vives has the support of the Historical Pact and President Petro to reach office.
