When the calendar turns to Thanksgiving and there’s no bigger fantasy football rush than the player you’ve put up as a long shot prospect, who suddenly turns into gold late in the day!. So, as week 11 begins, there is a rush for talent that was not considered a particularly important talent a few days ago.
Exhibit A: Green Bay leaving AJ Dillon behind.
The former Boston College standout has come into the limelight after Aaron Jones was sidelined during the Packers’ win over Seattle last week. 1 target as the Packers head to Minneapolis to face the Vikings on Sunday. Jones is likely to have two weeks off, so Dillon will only be available to the No. 1 priority teams on the free-agent strings this week.
For the less obvious possibilities, we have a few favorites…
Ramondre Stevenson (Patriots RB) -The former Oklahoma Sooner ran for 100 yards and two touchdowns last week when Damien Harris was sidelined. Although Harris is likely to return this week, Stevenson should be a solid No 2 running back, who can get most of the work near the goal line.
Jordan Howard (Eagles RB) – Howard has made three touchdowns in three games since his former team grabbed a pile of junk. He has also averaged over 70 yards in a game in that period. He could be running behind the likes of the Eagles in his last seven games.
Matt Breeda (Bills RB) — Long forgotten thanks to a long history of injuries, Breeda resurfaced last week to score two touchdowns en route to the New York Jets en route to Buffalo. He’s up to touchdowns, sure, but he could be a regular goal-line substitute for the AFC’s best team.
Marcus Johnson (Titans WR) – With Julio Jones continuing to suffer injuries and AJ Brown’s inconsistent season, Johnson has emerged as the favorite of Tennessee QB Ryan Tanhill. He hit the 100-yard mark last week against New Orleans, and that won’t be the last time he’ll do it.
Rashod Bateman (Ravens WR) — We’re waiting for the former Gophers star to emerge and finally have him in Baltimore, with eight goals each in the past two weeks. He would be no worse than the No. 2 receiver for Lamar Jackson’s offense going forward.
Cam Newton (Panthers QB) — Newton announced his presence with authority—and aloud “I’m back!” – Against Arizona last week. And he retrieved starting Carolina’s job this week. He’s never shy about calling his own number near the goal line, and he won’t be in the final seven weeks of the season.
even though the legendary RB Saxon Barclay plays, you won’t be excited to see him start against the Buccaneers. … indy rb Jonathan Taylor The only Colts player to start against Buffalo. … even in Jacksonville there is only one player worth starting against the revived 49ers: running back. James Robinson, … will keep the New England Falcons’ most influential player a secret: cordarell patterson, … detroit tight end TJ Hawkenson Has been a non-unit recently and will continue against Cleveland. …and the Packers’ defense has been so strong lately that you might think twice before starting the Vikings. Kirk Cousins Or Justin Jefferson,
Pittsburgh Will Rely on Running Too Back Nazi Harris Against the Chargers… the same goes for the Dolphins’ Miles Gaskin Vs Jets…. and of Cleveland D’Ernest Johnson against the lion. …the passing combinations we especially love this week are Cincinnati’s Joe Buro-Ja’mar Chase vs Raiders, and Chargers’ Justin Herbert-Keenan Allen vs. Steelers… also in line for the big weeks: Carolina WR dj moore Against Washington (Thanks cam newton), New England QB mac jones against Atlanta, and the Miami Dolphins’ defense once again against the lowly Jets.
It will be a classic matchup of a weak quarterback in a Cardinals-Seahawks game. you should probably still start kyler murray And Russell Wilson, even if they are likely to be disappointed. … Cleveland QB baker mayfield He is in the same condition after his latest injury. … injured last week to keep an eye on three pass catchers: Dallas’ cd lamb, of Washington Terry McLaurin and philly tight end Dallas Goedert, … the list of suspects is long and includes running backs (veterans). Saxon Barclay, Saints’ Alvin Kamra‘Brown’ nick chubbo‘Chiefs’ Clyde Edwards-Heller And the Seahawks’ Chris Carson), pass catchers (Cardinals’ deandre hopkins‘Steelers’ Chase ClaypoolGiants’ sterling shepardBuccaneers’ Rob Gronkowski And Antonio Brown) and a quarterback (of Pittsburgh) Ben Roethlisberger,
The Jacksonville Jaguars Have Finally Figured Out, Maybe, How To Get The Best Of Jamal Agnew, The wide receiver and special teamer, who made headlines when he returned a missed field-goal from 109 yards for a score in September, was put into the backfield last Sunday and paid dividends immediately with a 66-yard touchdown run . Will he get more work? What position is he eligible for? Who cares? He’s the closest thing to a future Hall of Famer Devin Hester, A good hiding option for the Keeper League.
