The Loop NFL Picks: Week 15

Every Sunday Kevin Cusick makes his predictions based on the latest data in Las Vegas, just as God intended …

Texans in Jaguars (-2 ½)
It was a historically ugly final for Urban Meyer, as Jacksonville’s coach was fired early Thursday morning after reports that he kicked Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo ahead of an exhibition game. Meyer was unable to immediately respond to his dismissal after midnight, because first he had to pull a classmate from his knees.
Pick: Texans – 3

Vikings at bears (+ 3½)
The Vikings last Thursday night were inches away from becoming the first team in NFL history to pull ahead 29-0 before holding out to beat the Steelers. Many Purple fans have had to be treated for mild shock, a natural reaction to their team being 29 points ahead of anyone.

Titans in Steelers (+ 1½)
Chase Claypool was accused of selfishness for celebrating the victory first and costing the Steelers valuable time at the end of their loss to Minnesota. Most of the Viking fans did not notice Claypool’s moves as they drank heavily for most of the fourth quarter.

NBC’s Chris Collinsworth raised his eyebrows last Sunday night, praising Aaron Rogers’ QB Green Bay for his honesty. We look forward to this week’s broadcast in which he praises Antonio Brown for his COVID testing and Urban Meyer’s skill.
