MG has renewed the HS with aesthetic changes and more technology, but the most interesting thing about this renewal is that it is being launched with a promotion that includes premium equipment items for just one euro!
Now the MG HS has three trim levels: Standard, Comfort and Luxury. The company is oriented towards the intermediate, which includes the following extras for just one euro more:
All of this would be in addition to what the Comfort trim level already offers: leather steering wheel, keyless entry and push-button start, 6-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, roof rack, 17” alloy wheels, DAB Radio, front parking sensor, rear camera and adaptive cruise control.
And how much does the MG HS with Comfort equipment cost? Well, this SUV costs 24,440 euros in this version and the 1.5 Turbo GDI petrol engine, which produces 162 hp, with financing discounts and introductory promotions. This means that for 24,441 euros you get a completely renovated SUV and luxury equipment.
The standard access version of the MG HS costs 24,439 euros, the Luxury costs 27,240 euros with the following additional equipment elements: 18-inch wheels, panoramic roof, full sports seats, premium console, ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control and automatic tailgate. The last two are only offered in the version with an automatic transmission, as the petrol engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, and a 7-speed dual-clutch DCT automatic transmission is available as an option.
As mentioned at the beginning, the renewal of the MG HS primarily affects its design and equipment. Its front appearance is inspired by the British “Spitfire” fighters, with full LED headlights, a redesigned grille and a new front bumper, giving it a more sophisticated and robust appearance. At the rear, the bumper has also changed, new double exhaust tailpipes have been installed and the LED taillights have a curious 3D effect.
The highlight in the interior is the integration of the second-generation “Venus” infotainment system. With a 10.1-inch screen, it is much more intuitive, offers faster and smoother operation and better tactile response.
