A man in Uganda married seven girls in one day. These are also two real sisters. Recently Uganda’s famous traditional doctor Habib Nsikon got married which is being discussed everywhere. Habib, 43, said he plans to take more wives to reach his goal of 100 children.
“There are very few of us in my family, so I want to have many children so we can have a big family,” the person said. As he prepared for the wedding, he gave his two wives new vehicles and several gifts to their parents, including motorcycles for the parents of his two sisters’ wives. This is not Habib’s first marriage as he has been married to Musaanyusa for seven years.
Habib married each bride individually in a traditional ceremony at his home. Then everyone went to a meeting. The brides arrived elegantly amid a fleet of forty limousines and forty motorcades. One guest at the spectacular concert said: “Some people couldn’t believe it was real, others said it was the first time they had seen a program like this.”
“The women don’t hate each other.”
Habib told the guests at the reception: “My wives are not jealous of each other, I introduced them one by one and married them all at once to create a big, happy family.” After the marriage, Habib said that I was still young. After the celebrations, Habib and his wives were taken by motorcyclists and cyclists in a procession that passed through the surrounding towns. Habib’s father says legal polygamy is widespread in his family in Uganda.
Many family members also married many girls
She said: “My grandfather had six wives who lived in the same house and were separated by curtains. My late father had five wives and I have four wives who lived in the same house. There were fewer than seven marriages in any family. Habib broke the record of marrying the most women in one day in Uganda. “This man with rare qualities settled in this village about four years ago,” Village Head Emmanuel Owere said on the occasion. “He came here, bought the land and made me a traditional healer. We let him do business. He didn’t intend to bring us glory when he came here. Now the name of our village can be heard everywhere.「
