The public affairs manager of “Cosco Shipping Ports” Mario De Las Casas announced this Wednesday that the shipping company, which was in charge of the construction of the Chancay Megaport, had asked the College of Engineers to decide on a special expert plan. So he thought the results of the investigation would take at least two months. “This is a long time,” he said.
“We have formally asked the College of Engineers to appoint some experts so that they can clarify what is the matter and why this has happened, and until this is determined, do not reactivate the work,” he defined.
