Six years after its debut in the country, the Maxus T60 continues to be one of the favorite trucks among local drivers. This is confirmed by the statistics of the National Automotive Association of Chile (ANAC) at the end of August.
In the first eight months of the season, the midsize pickup was the third best-selling in its segment, with 4,773 units. At the same time, it is the third favorite model in the entire industry, even above any SUV, passenger car or commercial vehicle.
According to the ANAC report, Maxus is also the fourth most popular manufacturer of pickup trucks between January and August 2023. With a 10.6% share, its offer consists of nine versions of the bag- ong T60 and four of T60 D20. , in addition to the T90 model, is available in three options, one of them 100% electric.
“We are very pleased with the reception that the T60 continues to receive in a competitive car market. More than 30 thousand customers have supported us since its arrival in 2017 and we see that the updates introduced in 2023 strengthens its presence,” said Maxus manager of Andes Motor, Maximiliano Sfeir.
During the second quarter of 2023, the model debuted innovations in its mechanics, equipment and aesthetics, making it more environmentally friendly, versatile and attractive. For example, today it features a new Euro 6c diesel engine, a more impressive front end and a wider grille, among other new features.
The Maxus T60 also remained the most sought-after product among vehicles of Chinese origin last year, according to Chileautos statistics. In May 2023, it leads the inquiries about the buying and selling platform, ahead of the rest of the pickup trucks and other popular city and family models.
