During the afternoon of this Saturday, the Southern Zone District Prosecutor’s Office through the State Investigation Agency (AEI) responded to a report about an armed attack against personnel of the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) near the municipality of Matamoros. , as well as the car theft in Pueblito de Allende.
In an immediate response, the AEI mobilized a joint operation with elements of the SSPE, Secretariat of National Defense and National Guard, sent to the city of Matamoros, the community of Santa Rosalía, Ciénega de Ceniceros, Balsequillo, Valle de Allende and Talamantes.
As a result of this intervention, a Nissan brand car, Sentra line, model 2022, gray color, which a few moments ago was reported stolen, was recovered in Matamoros.
At the same time, a report was received regarding the location of a dead person at kilometer 16, on the Parral-Jiménez highway, at the junction leading to Adela Station.
This is a man identified as Jaret Etzael LE, 25 years old, from Coatepec, Veracruz. He sustained a gunshot wound.
Personnel from the Expert Services Unit handled the processing of the scene, as well as the transfer of the body to Forensic Medical Service facilities for legal autopsy.
