The Mercedes-Benz S-Class 2021 has been launched, starting at Rs 2.17 crore

Mercedes-Benz has launched its new premium luxury sedan 2021 S-Class in India. The latest version of the S-Class comes in two options – the S400D4MATIC and the S450 4MATIC. The company has priced the S400 at Rs 2.17 crore and the S440 at Rs 2.99 crore. The 2021 Mercedes S-Class has already been launched with luxurious interiors, great styling and even better dimensions.

The car has 20-inch aloe wheels
The new S-Class is meters00 meters long and because of this there is plenty of space inside the car to make the journey of the passengers comfortable. The wheelbase of the vehicle is 3216 mm, length 5289 mm, width 1954 mm and height 1503 mm. In appearance, this car looks very much like the previous look. The aloe wheels provided in the car are 20 inches and their design is also new.

Cosmetic changes for a new look
Mercedes has made some cosmetic changes to give the car a new look. The new S-Class now gets a more sophisticated three-slot grille design in place of the old twin-slot grille design. In the car you will see new style headlamps with integrated DRL. The new bumper provided in the car has chrome lining which has made the car’s road appearance quite spectacular.

12.8 inch vertical dashboard with LED touchscreen mounted
Talking about the interior of the car you will see a newly designed dashboard in it. The dashboard has a 12.8-inch vertically mounted OLD touchscreen for infotainment. Apart from this the car will display 12.3-inch digital MID i.e. multiple data like the previous option which gives information about the car and engine.

Ventilated seats with massage function
The rear seat of the car is ventilated and the company is also offering massage function in it. In addition to these, you will also find a Tabid Doctor Center arm rest in the back seat. Equipped with ambient lighting, the car features a Burmester 4D surround for a powerful music experience.

Both forms of the engine give great power
The company has launched the SI-Class 2021 in two engine options – 3.0-liter 6-cylinder diesel and 3.0-liter 6-cylinder petrol. The car’s diesel engine delivers 330bhp of power between 3600 to 4200 rpm. At the same time, the peak torque of 700Nm comes in between 1200 to 3200rpm. If we talk about the petrol engine of S-Class 2021, it generates 367bhp of power between 5500 to 6100 rpm. In addition to these the car’s engine gives a peak torque of 500Nm between 1600 to 4500rpm.

0-100kmph in 5-1 seconds
Both S-Class 2021 engines are mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Speaking of speed and pickup, the diesel variant of the car reaches 0-100kmph in 5.4 seconds. At the same time, its petrol engine takes just 5.1 seconds to make 0-100kmph.
