The Mexican team will use women's uniforms at the Gold Cup for a surprising reason

The Mexican national team will use an alternate women’s jersey when they face Haiti in their next Gold Cup clash.

The women’s Mexican National Team jersey was launched a few months ago by Adidas, which was “inspired by the hidden beauty of the ocean.” That is why now the Mexican National Team will use it in the Gold Cup.

It must be remembered that the said jersey was launched with the aim of being worn by the women’s tri in the 2023 Australia-New Zealand World Cup, but unfortunately the team failed to qualify.

However, the fans loved the design of the shirt. That is why the Mexican National Team does not want to miss the chance to use it in an official match and that is why the players will wear it in their second match of the 2023 Gold Cup.

Mexico is in Group B, so it will have to face Qatar as well. Without a doubt, it will be a new challenge for those led by Jaime Lozano.

The game can be viewed through Channel 5, TV Azteca Channel 7 and TUDN. Mexico got off to a great start against Honduras and will be hoping to replicate that in their second Gold Cup matchup.

Mexican team moves forward with Jaime Lozano

Apparently, the Mexican National Team much liked the fact of having a Mexican Technical Director among their ranks.

And it is that, Edson Álvarez assures that he has never had a Mexican coach in his ranks and that he feels more identified with Jaime Lozano, so the departure of Diego Coca will benefit him.
