The Vespa Primavera: characteristics
For the new season, the Vespa Primavera 2024 shows its engine changes – single-cylinder 4T, LC, 3V, SOHC, IE – to adapt to Euro5+, in addition to being available in 50, 125 and 150 cc. version. sold in versions Primavera, S, Tech and Elettrica -with the RED edition included-, but let’s continue with the steps.
In addition, the Vespa Primavera is painted black, red, white and yellow for the centenary of the most famous character in the world – born from the pencil of Walt Disney. The Disney Mickey Mouse Edition by Vespa is the limited edition scooter that brings color and excitement to everyday mobility.
Outside, the new range of colors stands out, as always, very successful for Vespa, in addition to a new handlebar, counter shield and front fender crest.
The seat changes with the adoption of new materials and finishes that express a greater sense of quality. Another innovation is the new 5 double spoke alloy wheels, more beautiful and attractive, keeping their usual size, 12”.
The instrument is new, combining an analog dial with a 3″ LCD screen where various information such as consumption, odometer, speed and clock are displayed.
In Vespa Primavera Tech, the designers chose a 5” 100% digital TFT color screen, which gives a point of modernity that contrasts with the vintage image – ma non troppo – of the Vespa Primavera. Also noteworthy is the inclusion of a remote key start, so instead of an ignition lock a practical selection dial is built. The key is always in your pocket.
Primavera Tech has mobile connectivity thanks to the MIA platform, which allows messages and multimedia files to be displayed on the screen – on other Primaveras it is optional.
And there is another innovation and that is that it is offered in an electric version, the Vespa Primavera Elettrica, with a removable battery, but in a moped version -L1e-, with the highest speed of 45 km / h.
The second “small chassis” Vespa, the Vespa Sprint S, has also been modified with a new set of handlebars and mixed analog-digital instrumentation, as well as new wheels with spiral arms, Euro5 + engine and cool new colors and combinations.
And it also launched a new, unprecedented electric version, the Vespa Sprint S Elettrica, which is also an L1e, a moped. These versions do not replace the Vespa Elettrica 70, but instead complement the Pontedera battery-powered range.
Both models are now available on the manufacturer’s website, but no retail prices have been announced.
