The nature of the voxel’s prayerful electronic catapults. those who invoke

The regulation that developed the Cream and Growing Act, the Government has just put out for public consultation gives large companies a year and two SMEs to invoke e-commerce. These regulatory changes trigger the action of Voxel, a Catalan firm that offers online solutions to manage invoices, collections, delivery notes, orders, supplies and expenses.

In 2022, the company chaired by Xavier Ginesta and which has Angelus Garrido as its CEO, closed the best financial year in its history. The bill reached 14.8 million coins, 18.5% more than in 2019, before the start of the pandemic. This year it plans to grow by 23% and reach 18.4 million in cash, in line with the new commitments that the companies will have.

Voxel predicts “exponential growth”, which is quite a milestone for a company that was born 25 years ago as a market in specialty wines and cavas. “We were the pioneers, but we arrived before our time,” said Garrido in statements to EXPANSIÓN. Their e-commerce business has led them to specialize in offering services to companies entering this field.

“Starting in 2002, the administrations began to regulate how the invoice should be electronic: at first, the representation of what was done on paper”, but over time, it became more sophisticated, he explains. “Now that the law is created and growing, it will go a step further: it will not only be a mandate, but it will have to be reported immediately to the digital platform of the treasury,” says Garrido. The regulations will force companies to introduce profound changes in their management departments.

For Voxel, it was important to establish itself in the tourism sector. Its electronic platform manages more than 90 million goods a year in 100 different countries. It is used by 50,000 hotels, 1,000 operators, 1,200 suppliers and 3,000 restaurants and franchises.

When the Covid-19 began, and despite the crisis suffered by its clients, it decided to continue the development of the program, and to make it easier for LAKE companies to carry out their expenses in these matters. Ten years ago it opened a subsidiary in the Dominican Republic and in 2021 bought the Australian startup Troovo, which allows it to have a physical presence on three continents.
