Ola Electric has released new software for electric scooters for all its customers. This new MoveOS 2 over-the-air (OTA) update will be available to over 50,000 customers across the country. After the new update, many problems of Ola S1 Pro users such as range drop, battery discharge problem will be eliminated. This will further enhance the user experience. However, after the release of MoveOS 2 OTA, the company’s CEO Bhavish Agarwal said that they have started working on MoveOS 3. He asked people for advice on new OS.
Bhavish tweeted that the rollout of MoveOS 2 is now being fast-tracked. Will reach everyone in the next few days. Here the company has started working with MoveOS 3. What’s new in MoveOS 2 (OTA)?
When Ola customers update the scooter with MoveOS 2, the performance of other features including navigation user interface, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity will also increase. For example, now with the app, you will be able to lock or unlock the scooter. Similarly, from the app you can also unlock the scooter’s diggy. Now while enjoying the music, you will be able to manage the other features of the scooter. Suppose you are riding a scooter in summer and eating ice cream. Then the scooter will take you to the ice cream parlor with the help of navigation.

Live route maps are available at HMI
The OTA software update to MoveOS 2 will provide better navigation support for users who use turn-by-turn navigation support. They will get a live route map on the HMI of the electric vehicle, which will help riders to reach their destination quickly. The company further noted that this feature may require a hardware upgrade for an enhanced navigation experience. For this the scooter has to be taken from the customers to the company.
