The price of electricity tomorrow, Wednesday, rises 115%: it will be the most expensive in 8 days

The price of electricity tomorrow, Wednesday, March 15, will rise again and will be up to 115.7% compared to the amount of 61.51 MWH that is paid today, Tuesday. With this, electricity has ended with seven days below 100 euros since March 7, when electricity reached an average of 121 coins/MWh, according to the results of the auction held in the Lupali market.

According to the latest data from the Iberian Electricity Market Operator (OMIE), the gas cap will not continue to be applied – only March has not yet been raised due to the fact that the price of this raw material in the Iberian Gas Market (Mibgas) remains below the limit of 55 coins/MWH set by the Government this month.

The price of electricity tomorrow: the most expensive and the cheapest hour

Despite this rise, the price of electricity tomorrow will be about 47% less than a year ago, when it was 250 coins/MWh; and it will be lower than that recorded in the neighboring countries, with the exception of Germany. In France, the average price will be 145 coins/MWh; in Italy, of 141 euros/MWh; in Germany, 127.7 euros/MWh; and in Britain, 133.3 pounds/MWh (about 151 coins at the exchange rate).
