Maruti Suzuki said in a statement to the exchange: Therefore, it becomes essential for the company to pay a portion of this extra cost to the customers through price increase. The company has consistently raised the prices of various models. The company announced price increases in March, July and September this year.

Recently, the price of Eco has gone up by Rs 8000
Maruti Suzuki has recently increased the price of its Van Eeco by Rs 8,000. This increase is due to the addition of airbags to the Echo. Also, Maruti Suzuki recently reported that production at its two production locations in December could be around 80-85 percent of normal capacity due to a semiconductor shortage. Shares of Maruti Suzuki traded at Rs 7,264.60 on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday afternoon.

Sales of Maruti Suzuki fell sharply in November
As of November this year, Maruti Suzuki’s total sales stood at 1,39,184 units. At the same time, it was 1,53,223 units in November last year. This decline in sales is due to a decline in production due to the global chip deficit. Maruti Suzuki’s internal sales stood at 1,13,017 units in November 2021. At the same time, sales to other OEMs stood at 4,774 units.
