Now only Alto LXI (O), Alto VXI, Alto VXI + and Alto LXI (O) CNG will be available. Their ex-showroom prices range from Rs 4.08 lakh to Rs 5.03 lakh. Earlier, the base variant was priced at Rs 3.39 lakh. That means the starting price of the new Alto is 69 thousand rupees more. Its petrol variant gives mileage of 31.59Km / kg and petrol variant gives mileage of 22.05km / l. The car has dual tone interior. For safety it has dual airbags, EBD with ABS. It also has child lock and smart parking sensors. It has a 7-inch touchscreen display.
The new generation will get a 1.0-liter engine
According to reports, the new generation Maruti Alto is expected to get the new K10C DualJet 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol engine with start / stop system. This engine can generate 67bhp of power and 89Nm of torque. It will also come with a 796cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine which is good for 47bhp and 69Nm of torque. The new Alto is expected to have both manual and AMT gearboxes. It is also likely to come with a CNG version of the hatchback.
