The new generation will get a 1.0-liter engine
According to reports, the new generation Maruti Alto is expected to get the new K10C DualJet 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol engine with start / stop system. This engine can generate 67bhp of power and 89Nm of torque. It will also come with a 796cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine which is good for 47bhp and 69Nm of torque. The new Alto is expected to have both manual and AMT gearboxes. It is also likely to come with a CNG version of the hatchback.
