The Soria Provincial Council kicks off the 2022-2023 School Games season today, May 19, at 6:00 pm, at the Aula Magna Tirso di Molina.
The school sports program for the 2022-2023 season includes 3 days of badminton, 4 days of cross-country, 3 days of track athletics, 4 days of junior, 6 days of juvenile, 3 days of individual sports and 10 days of sports . Group game. All this, in 31 game days.
A total of 1,469 school children have participated from 17 cities of the province, 20 participating institutions and 94 teams including youngest children, teenagers, children and cadets.
In the closing ceremony, the President of the Provincial Council, Benito Serrano, praised the duty of the public administration to “guarantee the practice of sports among young people by promoting sports, health and with special attention to the importance of believing in sports values. ” as a context for personal and critical development for fair play”, he explained.
The school children collected the trophies in a play that ended with a family photo.
Likewise, the Soria Provincial Council recalls that tomorrow, May 20, at 11:00 am, in Quintana Redonda, will be an intense day of sports with the final of the Women’s Provincial Cup, at 11:30 am. Between San Esteban and San Jose B.
Interpueblos Soccer 11 takes place between San Pedro and Duruelo at 4:15 pm, and Interpueblos Futsal takes place at 6:00 pm, between Agreda and Berlaga de Duero. At 18:30 the final of the Men’s Provincial Cup will be played between Quintana and Calsanz.
