For days we have known that Xiaomi is ready to launch its new and long-awaited mid-range mobile, which will undoubtedly become one of the best sellers in the coming months. This is the Redmi Note 13, and today we got to know one of its key features. We are talking about the processor with which this phone will debut and which no other mobile will have in its technical data sheet when it is launched. Undoubtedly something promising when it comes to the performance of this terminal.
New Snapdragon processor
Mid-range mobile phones have always ranged in a wide range of performance, with processors of many types offering better performance in different areas, some more off-road and others more focused on gaming. Today we learned that the Redmi Note 13 will be the first phone to feature the latest mid-range Qualcomm processor.
This has just been presented and it is the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, an advanced processor manufactured using the 4nm process and has 8 cores. The GPU is an Adreno 710 and it is compatible with LPDDR5 RAM. But it also shows that it is a high-performance processor by enabling UFS 4.0 storage units, which are significantly faster when reading and writing data.
In addition, there is a key fact in the capabilities of this processor, and that is its compatibility with camera sensors of up to 200 megapixels, which is precisely one of the features that has been leaked for this mobile so far, so clearly everything fits here. It is also a processor that can manage high-speed Wi-Fi 6E connections as well as 5G connectivity.
So this shows that Xiaomi is going all out with its new mid-range, as it will have one of the best processors currently in this range and with more development potential. And the strange thing is that it will not be the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ that will use this processor since, although it is a model that is supposed to have, among other things, that 200 megapixel camera, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor would feature.
And that gives us something to think about, because we shouldn’t rule out the possibility that another cheaper member of the Redmi Note 13 range could include one of those huge 200-megapixel cameras. In addition, it will have other interesting aspects, such as a screen with curved edges and the elegant Gorilla Glass Victus glass. The reality is that we will soon abandon our doubts since this Redmi Note 13 is expected to be presented next week, more precisely on September 21, so we are close to meeting it.
Typically, Xiaomi Note models surprise with unusual features for mid-range mobile phones and in many cases become pioneer devices in this range that is so popular on the market.
