The requirements for this bonus
To receive the Caregiver Bonus for the Elderly and dependents, the following requirements must be met, according to ChileAtiende:
- Enroll in the Home Care program for People with Severe Dependency of the Ministry of Health, through the primary care corresponding to your home, whether Cesfam, Cecof, Posta rural or other public institution.
- There is a caregiver who does not receive payment.
- That the person is not institutionalized in a long-stay establishment for the elderly or for the young.
Postulated?
To access this state benefit it is not necessary to apply, because the health service corresponding to the dependent person’s home is the one that implements the procedure that allows its delivery.
In addition, the beneficiaries were selected by cross-checking the administrative databases available at the Ministry of Social Development and Family.
What is the amount received?
This bonus consists of a maximum monthly payment of $32,991 for the delivery of its services, which will be adjusted annually according to the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), reported in December of the year before it will be implemented.
How long does it take to receive the bonus?
This bonus will be granted from the same month in which it is approved and as long as the requirements are met.
