The City Council of Villanueva de la Canada opens the municipal summer pool from today until September 3. Located in the Santiago Apostol Sports Center, it has three pools: two, for the youth and adult population, and one, for children, as well as large green areas and a picnic area.
This year, as a novelty, lockers have been installed in the changing room area where users can leave their belongings. Until June 19 and as in previous years, the public will be able to enjoy books, newspapers and games in the Bibliopicina.
The pool is open June 5 to 8 and June 12 to 15 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday June 9 and 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday June 10 and 17 and Sunday June 11 and 18, 11:30am to 8:30pm.
From June 19 to August 15, Monday to Friday, 12:00 noon to 8:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. From August 16 to September 3, Monday to Friday, 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Individual tickets for registered people cost between 2.50 and 3 euros for children, depending on whether it is a weekday or weekend, or a voucher for a bath of 10 children for 17.50 euros. For registered adults, admission costs 3 euros on weekdays, 4 euros on weekends and holidays, and a 10-bath pass costs 26.50 euros. There is also the option of a 20-year bond for family use for 40 euros.
For children who are not registered, admission is a voucher of 3.75 or 4.50 (weekdays and weekends or holidays respectively) or 26.25 euros. For non-registered adults, individual tickets are 4.50 and 6 euros (weekdays and weekends or holidays) or a 10-use voucher for 39.75 euros.
There is also a special discount of 20% with the Youth Card, for pensioners and people with a disability over 33%, (excluding the family bonus) and 25% for large families.
