Czech carmaker Skoda is set to launch its new sedan Skoda Slavia in India on November 18. The company has introduced two new cars this year – the Skoda Octavia and the Skoda Kushak SUV. The company is releasing new car features and looks one after another. On Tuesday, Skoda unveiled the upcoming Skoda Slavia interior design. Earlier last week, the company also hinted at the car’s exterior design.
The new sedan will replace the ডkoda Rapid. It looks sportier than Rapid. When it comes to interior, it features a round air vent, large touchscreen display, steering wheel mounted controls and স্কkoda badge on the bezel. Its touchscreen display will be 25.4 centimeters (10 inches) in size. The sedan features digital instrument clusters and a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel.

This will be the exterior of the car
The company is going to give a completely new design language to this car. In Slavia, you will see the lower front edge, inspired by Octavia. The car has been given a large hexagonal grille. The car also has nice headlamps with L-shape DRL. In the car you will see dual tone, five-spoke alt wheels. The rear of the car is provided with the company’s C-shaped tail-light, which extends to the boot.

Engine and power
The Skoda Slavia has the potential to get the same engine as the Kushak, which will be slightly tuned according to the sedan. The first engine will be 1.0-liter TSI petrol, which generates a maximum of 114 hp of power and 178 Nm of peak torque. It will be combined with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The second engine will be 1.5-liter TSI petrol, which generates 148hp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. It will be combined with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG transmission.
