Mamby is a startup that was created in 2020, but won’t be released to the public until 2022. One year after its publication it became the Spanish social network that received the most visiting users. For every 1,000 visits the platform costs €35, which is 40 times more than YouTube.
One of the goals with which the startup was created is to democratize monetization. Small content creators can reach figures that would be impossible on other platforms. “On other platforms, a few have a lot of money, but the majority never opt for this opportunity. But in Mamby there is room for small content creators, for example, this last month, a new user monetized €522, without the need to sell or collaborate”, opens Tomasz Strzelecki, founder and investor of Mamby.
One year after its official launch, the Mamby platform has achieved a new way of generating and discovering content of any kind, offering creators the opportunity to monetize visits to their content from day one, receive donations and promote their creations. your nakedness Mambyus currently has 100,000 registrations, 220,000+ posts, 20,000+ monthly active users, and 13,200+ weekly visitors.
The platform has several elements that make it different from other social networks used to: Mamby’s subscription model, which consists of a quota system that rewards quality content with a high reward, while freeing visitors from an unwanted public. At the same time, the platform highlights original and proprietary content, offering the same opportunities to everyone, even small creators. According to Alberto Contessotto, General Director of Mamby, “any creator who offers his products and services to other users, inside or outside Mamby, has the ability to transform that knowledge into money, regardless of the angle in question, and this is something that for those who they are not “influencing” us, until recently it seemed unthinkable”.
Mamby works to bring the platform to Spain
After carving out a niche among the main social networks, Mamby is preparing the process of its expansion this year. “In 2023 we want to be the reference platform for content creators in Spain”, explains Borja Pombo, CTO of Mamby.
The directory is available in English and Spanish, but the content generated mainly in Spanish has also brought a large audience from Latin American countries, giving the company from Alicante an opportunity to grow. Now, the top 5 countries of origin for visitors last month are: Spain, the United States, Mexico, Chile and Argentina.
Until now, Mamby has rewarded users with bitcoins, being a great option for those who wanted to generate income in cryptocurrencies. Although this process is simple, it is unknown to many users, so the work has already been done to charge content creators in cash.
Mamby wants the platform to become an intermediary for selling original works, both in physical and digital form. In the market, the benefit is that the user would have direct access to the creator of the content through Mamby chat and by paying through our solution, Mamby would be the only medium to work. Requests for custom artwork have already been placed with Mamby users, as the community is the most important part of the platform.
