The Steve Jobs archive finds nine chosen ones who are supposed to follow in the footsteps of Apple founder

The Steve Jobs Archive is an organization that serves as the “authorized home” of Steve’s story, with the goal of becoming a resource to help new generations leave their own mark. Today the project reaches a new phase with the launch of a scholarship program to make this dream come true.

Steve Jobs’ legacy will live on with nine scholarships for future legends who follow in his footsteps

Launched in 2022 by Laurene Powell Jobs, widow of Steve Jobs, the Steve Jobs Archive contains curated exhibitions and publications drawing on material from her private archival collection.

Now, as reported on the project’s official website, a scholarship program has been launched to help a new generation of creative people with technological talent follow in Jobs’ footsteps:

“Steve believed that if you give talented people great tools, they will use them to do wonderful things. The SJA Fellowship is a year-long, non-residential program for young creatives working at the intersection of technology and the liberal arts.

“Each recipient in our first cohort will receive a stipend, as well as resources and tools to support their creative, professional and personal development.”

The program’s first nine fellows, which we can meet on the program’s website, will be a group of nine “young creators,” including musicians, engineers, storytellers and more, who will receive guidance, resources and financial support over the next year to help you create your creative projects and make them a reality.

As co-founder of Apple, Steve was one of the key architects of a company that revolutionized the computer industry with products such as the Macintosh, iPod, iPhone and iPad.
