The truth is that I never thought about it

The Honduran team achieved a great victory in the Concacaf Nations League against Granada. The Bicolor squad defeated their rivals 4-0 and placed third in Group B of the tournament.

One of the sensations of the game is David Ruiz, the fans of Catracha are excited for the debut of the Inter Miami footballer, many admire him to play with Lionel Messi.

Ruiz entered as a substitute and from the moment he arrived on the field he was applauded by the Catracha fans. Every time the Honduran touches the ball at the “Chelato” Uclés National Stadium, he is touched.

In the mixed zone he was sought by journalists to find out his reaction to his debut, the midfielder confessed his feelings and whether he shaves or not.

The debut has finally arrived…

It was a great experience to have all the fans and everyone who supported us in the debut here at home in an important game, we came and we did well and we are happy because we won today.

How do you feel about the National?

Well, they gave me freedom, they put me in the right midfielder, I let myself go, I looked to touch the ball, they gave me all the confidence, thanks to them I’m here and I’m happy.

Are you surprised by the reception?

The truth is that I never thought about it, the detail is very nice, I am very happy that I did things the right way and now continue the fight.

What did Rueda tell you?

He was very happy, he congratulated me on my debut and told me to improve because there are things to come.

Do you allow yourself to shave?

No, hahaha I don’t cut my hair. I will not leave.

What to expect from Honduras…

I hope to keep coming, it’s a great pride to represent a country and I’m trying to do good things at the club so they call me.
