Concerned about the pictures of the award-winning Leopard Lake in Ukraine?
When Ukrainian soldiers were sent to different countries to train in the use of foreign tanks, mainly German Leopard, American Abrams or British Challenger- the images that work like wild fire in social networks did not stop multiplying.
Knowing that in this war, as in all, propaganda is vital to corrupting the enemy, there are audio-visual documents in which some of the worst predictions of military analysts seem to have come true.
In this sense, and when the Cube was published by Euronews, images of supposed leopard lakes were seen that had been disturbed by the sudden fighting in Ukraine and were captured by the Russian invasion. This is clearly a stage that many have warned is possible considering that the Leopard 2 is not the best tank to use in this field.
However, based on the above-mentioned means, they have carried out an analysis of the source and origin of these images. And surprisingly, it has a trick. “The original findings on Instagram, published in April 2022, long before the West agreed to send the Panther II to Ukraine last month,” they point out from the special medium. According to Cube, the publication is from Wartofta, a unit integrated into the ranks of the Skaraborg wing of the Swedish Armed Forces.
