When and where will the opening match be held?
The opening match of the Copa América will be played on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Conmebol confirmed. With a capacity for more than 71,000 spectators, this famous place in the United States was chosen to host the first match of the 48th edition of the oldest national team tournament in the world.
When and where will the final be played?
The Copa América final will be played on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at the Hard Rock Stadium, located in Miami, Florida. Through its social networks, Conmebol detailed that this venue, with capacity for more than 65,300 fans, will be the place where the new champion of this historic tournament will be determined.
Teams participating
There are ten teams that will participate in the name of Conmebol in the next edition of Copa América 2024. In addition, it is detailed that six invited teams from Concacaf will participate.
From the Concacaf Nations League, where 41 teams will participate, six representatives from North America, Central America and the Caribbean will appear.

How do Concacaf teams qualify?
From November 17 to 21, four of the six places Concacaf will have for Copa América 2024. In the round-trip brackets, the winners of the quarterfinals of the Nations League will be able to secure their place in the historic tournament, while the other two qualifiers will be determined by a playoff between the four teams that lost their matches.

When will the Copa América 2024 draw take place?
The draw for the group stage of Copa América 2024 will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the James L. Knight Center, in the city of Miami, Florida, United States.
