The United States continues to the 2023 World Baseball Classic with an all-star team. The roster will be led by three-time American League MVP Mike Trout, but the Los Angeles Lakers outfielder isn’t the only big name on the roster.
The United States’ 2023 WBC roster also includes Clayton Kershaw, three-time Cy Young Award winner as the best pitcher in the National League; Paul Goldschmidt, National Coin MVP; or Mookie Betts, American League MVP in 2018.
The United States team is the only one in the Classic where all players are now playing for major league teams. And there will be stars on the coaching staff as well, which includes the legendary Ken Griffey Jr. he has to be a hitting coach.
The United States won the title for the first time in 2017, after beating Puerto Rico 8-0 in the final, played at Dodger Stadium.
In this edition, his journey begins in Group C, which he shares with Mexico, Colombia, Canada and Great Britain.

Group stage – Group C
The World Baseball Classic Group C games will be played at Chase Field in Phoenix, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks of the Major League Baseball (MLB).
Group C appears at local time in Arizona, United States of America (UTC-7).
Second round (Quarterfinals)
If United States makes it past the first round, it will take first or second place in Group D, according to the stations. Group D is made up of Puerto Rico, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Israel and Nicaragua.
* If the United States advances to this round, they will play Quarterfinal Game 4, regardless of location.
The final season
All games of the final season will be played at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
