The Vulcano Ultra Trail is all set for its 2023 edition


The long-awaited Vulcano Ultra Trail, a race in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, is all set to celebrate its challenging 2023 edition.

Everything is ready. Just over a week left for the 2023 version of the Volcano Ultra Trailthe Trail Running race recognized as one of the most iconic in our country.

10 years after its first edition, the competition takes place in the difficult paths of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park is a National Park (Puerto Varas), preparing for a special occasion.

They can be more than 1,300 athletes from 25 different countries which, is divided into five categories (100K, 70K, 42K, 21K and 13K)they will challenge the Osorno volcano and the roads surrounding the lake of Todos Los Santos.

The difficult route includes forests, rocks, volcanic ash and rugged terrain, surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the aforementioned National Park.

That’s worth mentioning Registrations have been selling out for Puerto Varas is expected to once again become the center of national Trail Running.

“We are less than a week away from living 10 years since the first version, and everything is ready for runners and their families to join the Vulcano Ultra Trail party at the foot of Osorno Volcano”commented BioBioChile Cesar Montoyaproducer of the event.

The appointment is scheduled for next December 8 and 9. On Friday, the bravest runners will start at 10:00 pm in the Ultra category (100 kilometers).

On Saturday, at dawn the athletes will start in Terra (70K), followed by those from the Marathon (42K), Half Marathon (21K) and Sprint (13K).
