The Government of San Juan, through the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, offers various activities for San Juan residents and tourists visiting the province to enjoy and stay entertained during the weekend.
The proposals begin with a pop culture show in symphonic format that will be presented at the Teatro del Bicentenario. This is Back to the Orchestra, a one-of-a-kind show that took over the world with masterpieces of science fiction cinema from the 70s, 80s and 90s under the direction of iconic orchestral maestro Damian Mahler. Friday night the 19th, Un Perfect Plan, Pedro Alfonso’s new comedy, comes to the Sarmiento Theatre. The drama is about a botched heist, a family secret and an unlikely reunion. This new show proposes a fictional journey into the depths of our “Sanjuninidad”, trying to understand the DNA that makes us speak when we speak, think the way we think and become who we are. This humorous and reflective monologue combines original live music and multimedia. It starts at 20.
The offer will continue on Sunday with the World Skateboarding Tour, where San Juan will receive the best exponents of the discipline’s Olympic qualification. The qualification events, established by World Skate, add points to the Olympic rankings, which will close on May 23, 2024.
