These are the victims of the shooting in Monterey Park, California.

(CNN Spanish) — This Saturday night, January 21, one of the deadliest shootings in California history occurred after a 72-year-old man was shot repeatedly at a dance studio located in Monterey Park.

According to the Gun Violence Archive, the attacker, identified as Huệ Canh Tran, killed 11 people and wounded 9 others in the 33rd armed attack in the United States so far this year. In which four or more people are shot except the shooter.

Can Tran was found dead this morning in the nearby city of Torrance after the assailant shot himself as police approached his vehicle.

Officials revealed more details this Monday and some of those killed in this tragic incident have been identified.

Who are the victims of the mass shooting in Monterey Park, California?

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, all 11 deaths were over the age of 50 and none were over the age of 80.

Six of the dead are women and the rest are men.

So far, the coroner has solely identified the following victims:

  1. Mamie Nhan, female – born 15 August 1957 (age 65)
  2. Lillian Lee, Female- Born November 23, 1959 (63 years old)
  3. Ziuzuan Yu, female – born January 12, 1965 (57 years old)
  4. Valentino Alvaro, male – born March 11, 1954 (68 years old)
