The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki is soon preparing to update its vehicle portfolio in the domestic market. The company is also testing some models during this time, which will be introduced soon. According to media reports, new CNG variants of Maruti’s cheapest car Alto to best selling compact sedan car DZire will be launched. So let’s take a look at the upcoming cars of Maruti Suzuki-
1)- Maruti Dzire CNG:
The company Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch a new CNG variant of its best selling sedan car Maruti Dzire in the market.
Recently, CNG variants of Maruti Dzire have been spotted during testing. Maruti Suzuki is now looking to strengthen its S-CNG portfolio. The company has 6 models in its CNG car list, which includes Ertiga, Alto, Celerio, WagonR, S-Presso and Eco Van. Except for Ertiga, most of the company’s CNG models give mileage of 30 to 32 km/kg. In such a situation, it is expected that the mileage of the Dzire will also be around this.
2)- Maruti Celerio:
The company has been working on the next generation model of Maruti Suzuki Celerio for a long time. According to media reports, the company can introduce this car in the market soon. Even the unofficial booking of this car has been started at some dealerships in the country. For this, an amount ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 11,0000 is being taken. The company introduced this hatchback car for the first time in the year 2014. It has also been spotted during testing on several occasions. According to the reports, the company is also using the Heartect platform in the manufacture of this car and it will also be bigger in size. It can be launched in the market with 1.0 liter K-series and 1.2 liter petrol engine.
3)- Maruti Alto:
The next generation model of Maruti’s cheapest car will be introduced in the market soon. According to media reports, the new Alto will be bigger in size, which will give you more space inside the car. The company is also building this car on its famous Heartect platform, on which the S-Presso has been built. This new platform will help in keeping the car strong as well as keeping its weight light. It is expected to be powered by the same 0.8L engine as the current model, which generates 48 PS of power and 69 Nm of torque. It is believed that the company can launch it at a price of Rs 3 lakh.
4)- Maruti Vitara Brezza:
The segment leader Vitara Brezza was first launched by the company in the year 2016. During the Auto Expo last year, the company launched its new facelift model. During this time its diesel variant was discontinued and it was launched in the market only with the petrol engine. Although no information has been shared about its next-gen model yet, it is believed that the company may offer it with the existing engine and new chassis frame. Apart from this, a mild hybrid system can also be given in it, due to which its mileage will also be better.
