With the start of April, motorists have started raising the prices of their vehicles. Recently, Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler maker, announced that it would raise vehicle prices from April. Now the company has increased the price of the Xplus series and Extreme models in its car lineup.
According to media reports, the price of the new Extreme 200 now stands at Rs 1,12,230, and customers will now have to spend Rs 1,1,800 on the Expuls 200. Apart from this, the starting price of Hero Extreme 200S has been raised to Rs 1,20,214. That being said, the price of this bike has gone up by around three thousand rupees.
The company has not made any changes other than increasing the price of this bike. These bikes are available for sale in the market as before. These bikes use an engine equipped with 199.cc cc power fuel injection technology, which generates 18.08PS of power and 16.45Nm of torque. These bikes have features like anti-lock braking system.
As the small cars from Maruti Suzuki raced in March, the company’s sales increased sharply
Why prices have risen The company had earlier said that the cost of production has gone up as a result of the increase in the price of the components required to make the vehicle, which is why the price is going up. However, the company has improved its cost-saving program to reduce its impact on customers. In addition to Hero, Yamaha and Bajaj Auto have also announced price hikes.
