Vipin Srivastava, Bhopal: It is said that humanity is the biggest religion and its picture is being seen in the cremation ghats of Bhopal these days. Here two Muslim youths are performing the last rites of such Hindu dead bodies, whose relatives are also afraid to touch them.
Danish and Saddam, who live in Bhopal, are performing the last rites of such dead bodies these days. Saddam and Danish, who have cremated about 60 bodies so far, say that there is humanity above religion.
Deaths occurring during the Corona period are also swallowing up relationships many times. Some are unable to perform the last rites of their loved ones under compulsion and some due to fear. In such a situation, in this Corona period, by breaking the caste-religion bond, the Danish and Saddam of Bhopal are performing the last rites of the dead, who are not able to give their salvation. Both have cremated around 60 such dead bodies so far.
Actually, a large number of bodies have been arriving in crematoriums for cremation since last fortnight. Among them are the common deceased and on the other hand the bodies of Kovid positive and suspected Kovid patients are also there. Most of the cremation takes place in the presence of the family, but there are also some dead bodies which the family does not come to take for fear. At this time, Saddam and Danish are becoming angels.
These days are the month of Ramadan and both of them have fasting, but in spite of this, they go around in the morning by the Aspatals and crematoriums and perform the last rites of such dead bodies. On asking, they say that there is humanity above religion and they feel that this is the greatest virtue.
However, in the Corona era, where Saddam and Danish are no less than themselves, at a time where they are keeping distance from their own people.
